Camille Pissarro: the First of the Impressionists at Musée Marmottan Monet, Paris

The First of the Impressionists

Presenting more than seventy masterpieces, the exhibition led us to the work of Camille Pissarro, who is recognized as the first of the Impressionists painters.

There is a great variety of styles inside Pisarro's whole production and this show testifies this fact. It's important to point out that Pisarro was the only painter to show at all the exhibitions of the Impressionist group that held between 1874 and 1886.

There is another related exhibition at the Musée du Luxembourg, Pissarro in Eragny, Nature regained.

Ends July, 2.
