Michelangelo & Sebastiano at the National Gallery, London

An artist's relationship in Rome during High Renaissance.




This show reveals the relationship between Michelangelo and Sebastiano del Piombo in Rome during High Renaissance. They were friends during 25 years and collaborated in some artistic projects during this vibrant period.

Their collaborative artworks the Pietà' for San Francesco in Viterbo and The Raising of Lazarus, painted for the Cathedral of Narbonne in France are displayed in this exhibition together with more paintings, drawings and documents.
